By a twist of fate Lee found himself enrolling into a music program instead of pursuing a career in politics. Lee has always been in the forefront of music education starting teaching at high school and then to his current position as professor of music education at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, ON
Lee Willingham is the Director of the Laurier Centre for Music in the Community, it is a global initiative to bring music from around the world into the academic world and vice versa.
